The timer

A pomodoro clock that a browser can’t break.

• Three modes — focus, short break, long break, with auto-start chaining so one runs into the next.
• A deadline, not a tick. The countdown stores an absolute end time rather than counting down, so a refresh, a sleeping laptop or a throttled background tab can’t lose your minutes.
• Picture-in-Picture. Pop the timer out into its own floating window and it stays in sync with the tab it came from.
• Four end sounds — two meows, a chatter and a purr.

Tasks, and the cat you earn

The part that makes the hours add up to something.

• A task list with drag-to-reorder, a session count per task, finish-early, and a guard when you switch tasks mid-session.
• Choose your cat. Every task carries the cat you’re working towards. Finish the session and that’s the one that arrives — not a random one.
• Twelve cats, each with a name, a quote and a personality.
• Real physics. Earned cats are rigid bodies, and the colliders are generated from the live interface — so they land on the timer and pile against your task list rather than against a guess at where it is. Drag them, throw them, and rescue the ones that escape.

Notes and the canvas

Somewhere to put the day as it arrives.

• Sticky notes and lists on an infinite pannable, zoomable canvas. Name them whatever you like.
• Pin or stash anything you don’t need yet, and edge indicators point at whatever has drifted off screen.
• The omnibar — ⌘K flies the camera to any note by name, from anywhere, even mid-sentence.

Notion, the calendar and the CatBook

• Notion. Connect your workspace once and turn Notion pages into tasks from the same keyboard flow. Read-only, you pick the pages, and the tokens never touch the browser.
• A calendar with month, week and day views and task scheduling — draggable and pinnable like any other note.
• The gacha. A daily turn of the crank for a cat you don’t own yet, which then joins the list you can assign to a task.
• The CatBook — the gallery of everyone you’ve collected so far.

Stats

A week you can actually look at.

• Day streaks, total focus time, your busiest hours, and a bar for every day of the week.
• A year heatmap you can walk with the arrow keys.

The extension

For the nights the work has to be done. Catodoro runs as a browser extension as well as a tab, so the timer and the meows follow you across whatever you’re working in.

Your data

• No account needed. Catodoro is fully usable signed out.
• Sign in later and nothing is lost — the cats, tasks and notes you made anonymously migrate to your account on the way in.
• Row-level security on every table.
